Boiled eggs are packed with nutrition and a great combination of fats and protein, making them an easy option to grab on the go to keep you full and satisfied. Cooking the perfect boiled egg which is easy to peel is all about the timing and the ice at the end of the process.
Directions
In a small pot, bring water to near boiling (or very, very hot water from tap or pot filler)
Bring eggs to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Simmer 6 - 10 minutes depending on how cooked you like your yolk. (These were about 7 minutes)
Place pot in sink and fill with ice. Or drain and place eggs directly in ice water.
After eggs have cooled, immediately peel eggs and store in zip lock bag until ready to use.
